We are excited to announce the 2022 ISBRA/ESBRA Congress Awards for early career investigators and trainees/students and the opportunity for you to directly support these awards. ISBRA NEW DIVERSITY AWARD FOR TRAINEES/STUDENTS FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES!
April 30, 2022, Application Deadline!
ISBRA has created a new fund aimed at supporting underrepresented students working in alcohol research to provide fair opportunity for ISBRA trainees/students from developing countries.
The award would consist of a waiver for the congress registration fees and up to US$2000 to support travel/accommodation. Specifically, these funds will be used to promote the participation of students belonging to underrepresented groups at the biennial ISBRA meeting and to create a grant program to partially cover the expenses associated with a visit to a lab of choice (from a list of available labs) in the metropolitan area of the congress for a week, before or after the meeting. May 1, 2022, Application Deadline!
The Early Career Investigator Award includes a monetary award and memento, which will be presented at the 2022 ISBRA Early Career Investigator Award Symposium during the 2022 2nd World Congress on Alcohol and Alcoholism (Joint Meeting of ISBRA and ESBRA) in Cracow, Poland, September 17-20, 2022. In addition, award recipients will be acknowledged at the ISBRA/ESBRA Congress Closing Ceremony. For additional information, please see the ISBRA Early Career webpage
